I am enjoying illustrating repeat floral patterns at the moment, I added some clam geese into this pattern along with a small jug of flowers to give it a farmyard, country feel.
New mixed flroal pattern in clam, hues with a pop of vibrant, dusty cherry red.

Here is my latest design for the kids apparel market, called 'Happy Days'. This is one of my biggest passions, to design for markets that cater for kids clothing, bedding and decor. I am also a huge stationary fan!
The beautiful little village life that I had in mind whilst designing Happy Days is based on my childhood memories of a small village I was born in, in North Germany. The sweet characters, soft colours and loveable scenery is bound to make any child happy too!

It was scrapbooking week this week at Lilla Rogers Studio. The mini assignment was to draw vintage ink bottles and then for the large assignment we were asked to design a vintage correspondence themed scrapbooking collection.
I had loads of fun with this week, I love designing icons and I also love looking at scrapbooking collections. I always slow down and browse the scrapbooking isle at craft shops and I have to admit, in the past I have bought loads of papers, stickers, embellishments, stamps and even scissors, hole punches and other tools which I'm not even sure how to use!
Tea Time anyone?

Here are some of my doodles for this months assigment in Lilla Rogers Bootcamp. The theme is Jello! I'm looking forward to seeing what the other bootcampers come up with, this theme certainly gives us a lot of room to move.
